Instructions for booking appointments in the Writing Center and/or Testing Center.
Fall 2019

NEW STUDENTS:

To book appointments at the Writing Center or with the Testing Center, you will first create an account in WCOnline. This is the website we use for the Academic Support offices’ appointments. Creating an account is easy to do and we will help you do so when your College Success Seminar visits the Writing Center. If you are unable to attend that day, follow these steps to set up your account:

  1. Click “Register for an Account”
  2. Complete the registration form using your @carthage.edu email address
  3. We suggest you use the same password you use for email and other Carthage programs to make it easy to remember.
  4. You are now able to log in and book appointments for both the Writing Center and Testing Center.

If you need assistance, please stop by the Writing Center or the Hedberg Library Information Desk during open hours.

RETURNING STUDENTS:

Due to a system update, all returning students will need to update their passwords with WCOnline before accessing the Writing Center or Testing Center scheduling system. This is easy to do and requires only a few steps:

  1. Click “Reset Your Password”
  2. Enter your email address (including @carthage.edu) and click “Reset Password”
  3. Check your email for a message from Academic Services with a reset link. Click on that link.
  4. Check your email for another message from Academic Services with a temporary password.
  5. Log in to WCOnline with your email address (including @carthage.edu) and the temporary password that was emailed to you.
  6. Once logged in, you should change your password to something permanent by going to your profile in WCOnline.

Please note that updating your WCOnline Password does not update any other Carthage password, so we recommend using the same password you use for email and other Carthage programs.

Thank you for helping us keep your personal information secure!  If you need assistance, please stop by the Writing Center or the Hedberg Library Information Desk during open hours.

Having trouble logging in? Enter your email address below and then click "Reset Password." The system will immediately email you with instructions for changing your password. If you do not receive that email in a few minutes, please check your spam filter.

Receiving unwanted text messages from this system? This system can send appointment reminder and waiting list notifications via text message, but only if a cell phone number and carrier is entered by a client when creating or updating an account on the system.

If you have an account on the system, log in to edit your profile and modify your cell phone preferences. If you do not have an account on this system, it's possible that your cell phone number was entered accidentally. Fill out the form below to remove your number immediately.
